Abstract

Sterilizers are frequently operated, and improper use can lead to decreased equipment performance, affecting temperature distribution during the sterilization process. To address this, monitoring the sterilization process and calibrating temperature using thermocouples are essential. In this research, we developed a temperature calibration tool equipped with real-time graphical display on a computer to facilitate temperature cycle monitoring. The system uses a type-K thermocouple sensor to measure temperature, processes data using an ATMega328 microcontroller, displays it on a 4x20 character LCD, and wirelessly transmits it to a computer via Bluetooth HC-05. The received data is integrated into an Excel spreadsheet using the PLX-DAQ application, creating real-time graphs. Comparative temperature measurements between the module and a multimeter yielded minimal errors (0.1%) during steam temperature measurement (100°C) and maximum errors (4%) during room temperature measurement (30°C). The research successfully displayed real-time graphs in Microsoft Excel, making it suitable for temperature cycle monitoring and equipment evaluation
